How we check

Shide lists government support that a one-person business can actually apply for. This page explains where each line comes from and what the site does not do.

What we list

Programs are usually announced with their largest figure. That figure is often reserved for incorporated companies, larger projects or matched funding.

For each place we show three things: the headline maximum and who it is really for; the programs a solo founder can apply for, with amounts and conditions; and whether applications are open.

How each line is checked

  1. Read the official pageAmounts, rates, time limits and conditions are quoted from the administering agency's own page, not from news or third-party summaries.
  2. Check the roundA program that exists is not always taking applications. We record whether a round is open on the day we check, and say so plainly when none is.
  3. Record source and dateEvery program links to the page it came from. The most recent check was on 2026-10-04 (UTC).

What this site does not do

We do not lodge applications, promise outcomes, or give legal or tax advice.

Programs change. Before you apply, rely on the official page and the agency's own notices.
